Balance Studio

Our passion is to live and help others live in Balance. 

Our studio is a beautiful boutique space to come relax from the busyness of life and get your body and mind into shape. 

We offer a number of specialised group classes - Pilates, Group Fitness, Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness, HIIT, Barre, Body Conditioning And BoxExercise, PoundFit, Stretch and Tone- with highly qualified instructors.

Our passion is to have many different styles of fitness in our studio because each person should find what they love to do to keep fit and healthy and guided by passionate instructors.

Benefits

At Balance Studio, we’re confident in our ability to provide you with the best in fitness. We provide techniques that provide results. Our exercises provide; loss in cm's, reducing cellulite, toning, strengthening, preventing injuries, energy gain, lengthening of your spine, being body aware, sleep better, recover from injuries and more. We are passionate about exercise and doing it correctly. You are able to do anything you put your body to.

Pilates Class
HIIT

Our classes are 60 minutes of intense but low impact exercise. Our Classes ensure that you are challenged and allow your body and core to gain strength and do things you didn't think you could do.

Our Classes work deep into those pelvic floor muscles, allowing for your core to gain strength and allowing your body prevention from injury. Our exercise are guided and are great for clients who have had injuries. Our classes are all about corrective exercise and teaching your body to function correctly.

MomFit

Prenatal and Postnatal fitness!

Exercise prenatally and postnatally has many benefits.

Exercise in pregnancy can help with a faster birth as well as a faster recovery.

When exercising with our program, we help you to activate those pelvic floor muscles that assist you in birth, and allowing your body to do what is necessary through the birthing process.

Exercising really does help with your body awareness, and allows you to feel and sense what your body is telling you. Even though in pregnancy, there are symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, back pain, carper tunnel, water retention, back ache, pelvic pain, nausea, and more, exercise helps to alleviate the symptoms and can even remove some.

Exercise in pregnancy has also proven to benefit baby, with all the oxygen being dispersed through the body. Moms that have exercised in pregnancy have had healthier, smarter babies believe it or not. 

When continuing with exercise after baby has arrived, our exercises have helped moms to heal faster, get stronger quicker and have also helped moms who have had postpartum depression.

We screen each women who applies to join our class so we know their medical back ground and are aware of any complications that we can assist with in the class.

Body Conditioning

Body conditioning is exercise that develops well-rounded and full-body physical fitness to improve the condition of the body. Those looking to increase their strength, tone up, increase their heart rate, and generally get fitter would benefit from a conditioning class.

Barre

Barre fitness combines ballet-inspired movement with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches to the beat. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements to work deep into that muscle layer.

PoundFit

In a POUND class, each participant gets a set of drumsticks “rip sticks.” This high-intensity interval workout incorporates rhythmic movements to get the class literally pounding the floor as they sweat. The genius of POUND class is that the music and high-energy drumming make the time fly past.

If you think it sounds easy, think again. While drumming, POUND class participants will be squatting, jumping, lunging, and using Pilates—and don’t underestimate the arm strength needed for the drumming itself.

POUND class is a full-body workout. While you’ll have a blast during the actual class, you’ll definitely feel the burn in your arms, core, and glutes afterwards.

Stretch and Tone

Sometimes our muscles and restricted with our daily habits and the way we use our body's. Compensating and Compromising our body. Stretch and Tone helps to align and give your body the ability to move freely and relieve any pain one might experience.

Rebounding

Rebounding is a type of aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline. Jumps can be fast or slow, and can be mixed with rest or aerobic stepping. Rebounding can help work the muscles in the legs, increase your endurance, and strengthen your bones, and is a great way to rid toxins and drain your lymphatic system.
